BAPE & Neighborhood joining forces with ADIDAS again?

Once touted as the successor to the once-popular NMD silhouette, the P.O.D has failed to live up to its expectations and it has fade to obscurity over the past few months. Japan's most esteemed streetwear establishments have once joined forces again with Adidas to re-create the P.O.D s3.1.
Neighborhood lends its monochromatic color scheme while BAPE's signature camo shark logo adorns on the lateral side of the shoes with the upper featuring the ape camo prints.
A release is expected for early 2019. Let's see if these two brand powerhouses will be able to generate some excitement for an otherwise declining sneaker silhouette.
